Photo: Woman (or witch) caught defecating in a pastor's home

Weird story I just received. This woman is supposed to a witch or something. I don't understand the story so I'll just let you read from the horse's handwriting. Find below...
A woman who can only be identified by her surname, Mahlalela, from Ebatsakatsini near Komatipoort in South Africa was caught red handed by a child in the wee hours of this morning, in the kitchen, defecating in a bucket inside the house of the Word of God Church Pastor, Pastor Nsingwane.
The man of the cloth says the way the woman got into his house remains a mystery as the doors and windows in the house were all shut and locked. When asked by the police what she was doing in the house, Mahlela told the police officer she was at the house to perform evil deeds on the family but she was caught, changing her earlier statement in which she’d claimed to be part of a team which works for a certain master and that she fell off the rope she was holding on to when she and her 15 collegues were flying.
"We use a rope to fly and I was sitting at the back when I fell off,” she said.
The village of Ebatsakatsini is a place created for people evicted from any of the 54 villages around Nkomazi after being accused of witchcraft

Xenophobia: Nigerians lost N21m in burnt cars, looted & burnt shops, - envoy

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the Nigerian Consul-General in South Africa, Amb. Uche Ajulu-Okeke, said Nigerians residing in South Africa have lost more than N21m Rand (1.2m) in looted shops, burnt shops, two burnt mechanic workshops, 11 burnt cars and two stolen cars, among others since the xenophobic attacks in some parts of South Africa started. She said the damages are enormous. What she said after the cut...

``Nigerians have compiled the cost of the damage to their property and it is totalling about 1.2 million Rand or N21 million, which will be sent to the Federal Government for further action. The Nigerian mission in South Africa is on top of the situation. We are working hard to protect Nigerians in South Africa. Though the task has not been easy but we are trying our best. In one of the hot spots at Jeppe, near Johannesburg, the mission assisted about 50 stranded Nigerians to re-settle. I have also visited the site of the attacks in Johannesburg to assess the damage and it was enormous. I am bringing all Nigerians together so that we work out a vigilance and alert mechanism; they will also tell me what their challenges and issues are" she said

Terry G Now Born Again?

It appears Nigeria's eccentric afro hip hop star, Terry G has not run out of ideas on how to engage his fans. The hip hop act at a recent performance in Enugu Nigeria  decided to take the gospel route while entertaining fans at the Spices Restaurant in Enugu venue of Legend Extra Stout Taste and Tell Activation hosted by Nigerian Breweries Plc.

But is he really born again? That is a big question for another day.

Is there any such thing as nude anointing?

From a female HGb  reader...

I am a young Nigerian female from the southern part of the country. I am in my early 20s and currently doing my NYSC in one of the northern states.
After I found out my NYSC posting, my parents contacted one of our kins men (a pastor of one of the 'new generation' pentecostal churches), requesting that I stay at his place for my NYSC period. He accepted. I was so excited that 'my accommodation' problem had been solved- little did I know that I was heading for a night mare.

My new guardian, a pastor, is married with two kids; however, his wife and kids are in the southern part of the country where they help manage a branch of the church.
I help-out with errands and house chores; there isn't much chores to be done considering the fact that there are only 4 people in the house (my guardian, the cook, another pastor and myself).
There are enough rooms for everyone; I had a room to myself and often shared it with the cook whenever she was passing the night.

The first 3 months of my NYSC happened so fast because of the number of activities I had to do.
Everything was just perfect until I had this encounter with my guardian.

I usually experience abdominal pains during my mensuration and my guardian soon observed this.
A few days after one of my mensuration cycles, around 1:30 AM, he asked me to come to his room for prayers and anointing especially concerning the menstrual pain.
I assumed all was normal and suspected no foul play.
I knocked at his door and stepped into his room, he prayed for a short time and asked me to completely undress so that he could anoint me with olive oil.
I was transfixed and confused for a moment, he was so bold with the 'command', after I reluctantly undressed, he rubbed his palms with the oil and placed them on my two breast.
After a while, he placed one of his hands on my vagina and then rubbed the oil in 5 different strokes.
I was totally shocked and embarrassed, totally confused and afraid of what would happen.
It all seemed like I was under a spell; after a while, I dressed up quickly and hurried out of his room. When I got to my room, the time was already 2:00AM, I stayed alert and awake till day break.
I cried intermittently because of what just happened.I could not believe that a man whom I respected so much could act in such a manner.

I kept the whole incidence to myself, I slowly became sober and depressed, always wanting to avoid his presence. Few weeks went by and then suddenly, one evening, he flippantly asked me to come to his room again for another nude prayer and anointing session.
Somehow, I summoned courage and said to him: 'No, please I'm not interested'. He was surprised but said nothing. The next morning, while I was doing house chores, he started barking and shouting without cause. One of the comments he made was: '...do you think if I want to sleep with a lady, it will be someone like you...'

In the midst of his shouting, I was quiet and calm doing the chores - I said nothing.
Ever since then, he always snaps and shouts at me for any little thing and he has been very hostile.
Whenever I get home 20 or 30 minutes later than normal after work, he would ask me series of questions ranging from: Where did you go to? Where are you coming from? Who were you with? etc'. On days that I am off-work, it is forbidden for me to step-out or leave the house including weekends.

I am tired of the whole thing and I no longer feel welcome in the house.

strange; see pics of mermaid'- like baby

A woman reportedly gave birth to a ‘mermaid’-like baby at the Suntreso Government Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. This child was born with a rare defect. As you can see, the baby has only one leg joining the torso from the waist down. Its two feet are conjoined at the heels to look like a caudal fin. The baby has no genitals, but is otherwise said to be in good health.

President Obama presents Jega with Certificate of Commendation

US president Barrack Obama a few days ago presented a Certificate of Commendation to INEC chairman, Attahiru  Jega, over the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections on March 28th, which they said was free and fair, credible and the best election ever held in Nigeria.

The 'Certificate of Commendation' was presented to Jega on behalf of the US government by US Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle. Entwistle said Jega's performance with the election was 'outstanding and worthy of emulation.'

But yesterday, Federal Commissioner for Information and South South leader, Chief Edwin Clark condemned the award, saying it was too hasty since the Governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections haven't even held. He told the US to leave Nigeria alone...

"I was surprised that Barack Obama gave Professor Attahiru Jega an award when the elections are still on . Obama should be tactful in handling the affairs of Africa. US should leave us alone, Nigeria is an Independent country. They tried it in Egypt, they should not try anything in Nigeria" He told journalists in Abuja yesterday

Things are that bad? Rapper DMX accused of armed robbery

A 21 year old Newark man, whose identity is being kept out of the press by the police, filed a police report in Newark New Jersey on Sunday Morning April 5th, claiming rapper DMX and his entourage robbed him just after midnight on Sunday morning at a gas station.

The man claimed he recognized DMX at a filling station on Highway 21, walked up to him and struck up a conversation with him about music. He said while talking with the rapper, a person in his entourage pulled a gun on him and demanded money. The man claims he pulled a wad of cash out of his pocket - about $3,200, which DMX snatched before escaping in a caravan of Cadillac Escalates.

The man said he followed the vehicles for a while and was able to provide a license plate tag number for one of the vehicles to the police. The case is under investigation. Hopefully, he mistook the thief for DMX

Nigerian Students Prostituting in Ghana

Prostitution began many centuries ago. It has evolved from being practiced by women only. They are male prostitute parading themselves shamelessly as the female do. gone are those days when prostitutes hide or apply some decency  to the way they hawk themselves.
The growing rate of campus prostitution in Ghana tertiary educational institutions in the contemporary times is raising a serious concern among Ghanaians and   Nigeria association of student in various institutions.
Few weeks ago, I set out for my usual road work at night with a very good friend of mine, while walking pass Hot Gossip Club at Osu, I heard a female voice  call my name … I decided not to answer, probably there might be someone there that  bear the same name with me. Before I could cross to the next part of the street that is opposite my house, the same voice called my surname. Well this time, I became curios so I decided to turn back.  To my greatest surprise an old class mates of mine way back in junior secondary school, I was really happy seeing her but not in the kind of appearance.  She gave me her number and pleaded that I  call her, she was in a hurry, she was just about going out with someone.
Despite the situation we meet I didn't made any conclusion about her,  am also  aware about the trends of Nigeria student prostituting in Ghana . The following day I gave her a call, we talked for while I invited her over so we can chat personally.
Getting to my apartment , we caught up with old times. I asked of her purpose of coming to Ghana. .she said she wanted to experience education and life in a different country. I also asked of the school she attends and  her  discipline .she mention the school and that she is studying business administration. During our conversation she stated that she lives in Tseaddo which is located at the Ghana Trade Fair.  Again I asked her not to be bias with the kind of questions am asking is just that I am curious, what what were you  doing at Hot Gossip Club  the night we meet.. And she was like,  "what's wrong with you" and she said to me, do you think you're still a kid or that you're  still in Nigeria where everything you do is been observed by your parents or people that are watching? That I should shine my eyes ooh we are in Ghana, Where everything is possible.  I tried talking her out of it, and here are some of the questions she asked that got me thinking.
What if i  alone trains myself in school?
What if my parents don't send enough?
What if my parents are not available whenever am in need?
                What happens to hard times?
What happens to peer group influence in times of need?

Again I said to her, even in success there are hard times
           What happens to moral training?
    What happens to self-endurance?
    What happens to self-esteem?
What happens to determination which leads to success?
What happened to your dreams as a baby?
What happens to life basic principles?
Today is another day to make things right.

It's Amazing how Nigerians youth sees Ghana as a free ticket to misbehave and spend their lives jumping from one man to another just because of Money!
Most Nigeria student who practice prostitution in Ghana are not aware of their action, some feel it just a means to get money to keep body and soul, some don't engage in it until they are broke, some are being led by peer group (bad influence). However, the parents have a share of blame for not educating their children on sex education before letting them go to the outside  world. They feel that educating their ward about sex is likely to expose them more to it, which is absolutely wrong.
Furthermore , following the high amount of Nigeria students prostituting in
Ghana, I am on the opinion that parents should communicate with their children often, give them moral support and also see to it that they don't jump into someone  older than them because of money. And also that the government of Ghana should see to it that the high rate of prostitution in Ghana be eradicated or it should be legalized whereas a student would not be given the license to prostitute no matter the condition she found herself .

Men pretending to be Ghana task force to deprived bus Drivers

At about 9 Am this morning in Achimota bus stop, some unknown men who were dress in blue overall pretending to be Ghana task force police stopped a Tro_Tro asking the driver to pay a fee of 200 Ghana cedis for parking at the bus stop, that it is illegal.
The passengers were all mad at this men who claimed to be Ghana task force. unfortunately , am not a Ghanian  so I couldn't interrogate any of them. I decided to talk to a lady that was sitting close to me, To ask the men of their identity card since they claims to be Ghana task force they should have an identity card or something for we to know that they are genuine.
They were not having any identity card or any evidence to show and their vehicle was no different from any other Tro_Tro  in the road.
Having know that they were not real Ghana task force agents,  the whole pessegers together with myself almost tear them apart, some people were calling the nearest police station that was in Tesano  district,  while some were dragging the men as they were about getting away.

See more pictures after the cut!!!
